Primula Obconica
30 days bloom guarantee
The Primula is one of the first winter bloomers, with sturdy bright green leaves and cheerful flowers. Primulas bring color, even during the cold winter months. The name Primula is derived from the Latin word 'primus' (first), because it is one of the first bloomers of the year. This 'key flower' symbolizes a new beginning, growth, and hope.
Tip from our cultivation chef:
Primulas like moist soil but do not give them too much water, as this can cause the leaves to turn yellow.
Care Indoors
Place the Primula in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight. The Primula prefers a fairly cool place, so avoid placing it near the heater. Keep the soil moist and water the Primula from below, for example by soaking or placing it on a saucer with water.
Care Outdoors
The Primula is a true survivor and can be placed outside. A shady spot is ideal. It blooms best at temperatures between 5 and 15 degrees and does not tolerate frost.
